Area Sales Manager - (Assistant Manager Level)
The Role
- Recommend and implement distributor efficiency improvements
- anager Leve
- Support and monitor Sales Executives to achieve set targets
- Provide route and capacity planning recommendations to distributors

•Ensure that distributor safety standards for premises and trucks are maintained at all times •Maintain the lorry fleet in optimal condition to uplift the company brand, and recommend brining in new lorries to replace old lorries when necessary
- Maintain the correct buffer levels at all times
- Monitor Sales Executives under his/her purview on a daily basis
- Ensure that commercial outlet distribution happens according to a plan
- Maintain dedicated vehicles for commercial deliveries
- Plan and initiate distributor level promotions
- Analyse distributor P&L's and health checks on a monthly basis
- Ensure distributor staff welfare and take appropriate steps to reduce staff turnover Propose and initiate distributor incentive schemes for distributor staff
- Maintain a special vehicle for promotions
The Requirements
The ideal candidate should have passed his/her G.C.E A/L and G.C.E O/L Mathematics and English with credit passes in not more than two sittings and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the FMCG sector. Professional qualification in sales and marketing from a recognized institution would be an added advantage. He or she should be able to converse well in English. Strong analytical and presentation skills and MS Office are prerequisites.
