Intern - Human Resources (Location - Dehiwala)

Job Summary:

Join our dynamic group of companies as an HR Intern and you will be based at our Corporate Office in Dehiwala and will play a pivotal role in supporting our recruitment efforts. Your responsibilities within the recruitment function will include:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR team members to post job vacancies on various job boards and platforms Screen incoming resumes and applications, identifying potential candidates for open positions.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Communicate with job applicants, providing information about the recruitment process and status updates.
  • Actively source and engage potential candidates through online platforms and social media.
  • Help maintain a talent pipeline by reaching out to passive candidates and networking in relevant industry groups.
  • Assist in the maintenance of recruitment records and documentation.

• Ensure all necessary paperwork and forms are completed by candidates and filed appropriately. Assist in tracking and analyzing recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness. Contribute to the generation of reports to improve recruitment strategies.

Required Qualification, Skills & Abilities:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.
