Due to rapid expansion in our operations we are seeking a dynamic, self motivated and result oriented individual to fill the following position immediately.
Position Available: LEGAL INTERN
We are looking for a legal intern to support the day-to-day tivities of the legal department. An energetic individual seeking hands-on experience on dynamic legal matters would be the ideal candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record keeping and documentation,
- Assisting administrative work in the legal department,
- Visiting relevant legal, statutory and other government offices when necessary,
- Attending courts with lawyers when necessary,
- Assisting in drafting and reviewing legal documentation,
- Carrying out legal research.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- LLB graduate or a final year student reading for their LLB;
- Proficiency in MC office package and computer literacy;
- Highly motivated individual with good time management skills and a team player;
- Written and spoken communication skills in Sinhala and English;
•No prior work experience required;
Further training, mentorship and apprenticeship opportunities available the selected intern.
