The company is experiencing a rapid growth in recent years as the country is moving towards sustainable practices of power generation from renewable sources. To support the growth, the company is looking for young and energetic engineers to manage the upcoming solar power and mini-hydro projects in Sri Lanka.
Manager/Assistant Manager Business Development - Solar
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the sector with frequent customer visits.
- Develop and maintain relationship with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers in securing new opportunities.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of contracts, ensuring favorable terms and sustainable partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and drive revenue growth whilst maintaining the profitability of the company.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Diploma in Business Administration or similar qualification from a reputed University.
- 2-3 years of Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within solar sector.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent inter-personal, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive results independently Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental impact.
- Experience in solar projects would be highly desirable.
