Intern - Industrial Engineering
Brandix Apparel Solutions (Private) Limited - Knit - Welisara
SCOPE
As Intern - Industrial Engineering, you will directly report to the Manager - Industrial Engineering. You will work with your team to maintain accurate work measurements within cycle time. You will assist in research, evaluation and implementation for value analysis and value engineering. You will work with your team to achieve set goals and identify advancements to improve methods and operations while striving for SMV reduction and achieving/surpassing planned efficiency standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enhance productivity through continuous improvements and ensure optimal utilization of factory resources
- Ensure that the factory manufacturing system and its application is effective and operational SMVs are aligned with GSD, and achieve and improve production
- Work closely with your cross-functional teams to fulfill factory requirements throughout the process
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a Degree in Garment Technology/Engineering
Analytical skills, logical thinking and a Mathematical background
Be proactive, assertive and forward thinking
Residing in close proximity to Welisara
