SCOPE
As Senior Merchandiser - Bulk, you will be reporting to the Manager - Merchandising. You will be accountable for driving the T&A for the assigned orders (category/customer). This includes ensuring achievement of OTD, Quality, Schedule attainment and profitability objectives in close co-ordination with cross functional internal teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively co-ordinate the execution of orders on a timely basis and achieve the relevant pre-defined delivery targets to ensure customer satisfaction
Manage respective T&As and bear responsibility for 100% customer co-ordination
Record and distribute weekly updates and co-ordinate with the Planning team to achieve committed delivery deadlines
Know and maintain up-to-date status reports on all orders
Ensure 100% on time delivery as per expected quality standards
Cost effectively manage the operations and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess an academic/professional qualification in Marketing
- A qualification in Textile/Fabric Technology is desirable
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Merchandising within the Apparel industry is required whilst exposure to other aspects of apparel manufacturing, fabric & trims and lingerie will be advantageous
Work experience in a buying office would also be beneficial
Ability to communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Possess applicable knowledge in fabric, trims and garments with various finishes
Effective time management, skill prioritization capabilities and ability to perform under pressure
Be proactive, assertive and forward-thinking
Ability to take ownership in delivering operational excellence while being a performance-oriented team player
