As an Online Fashion Merchandiser, you will be responsible for curating and managing the online product assortment, optimizing product visibility, and driving sales on the e-commerce platform. We are hiring a Fashion Merchandiser for our client in the Apparel and Fashion Industry in London, United Kingdom.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Online Merchandise Planning and Assortment Selection:
- Develop and execute online merchandise plans based on sales targets, inventory levels, and customer preferences.
- Curate product assortments that align with brand identity, target audience, and seasonal trends.
- Visual Merchandising and Presentation
- Optimize product placement, categorization, and search functionality to enhance product discoverability and user experience.
- Monitor website layout and user interface to ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards.
- Sales Analysis and Performance Monitoring
- Analyze online sales data, website traffic, and key performance indicators to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Generate regular sales reports and insights to inform merchandising decisions and marketing campaigns.
- Pricing and Promotion Strategy
- Monitor competitor pricing and promotional activities to remain competitive in the online marketplace.
- Implement promotional tactics, discounts, and special offers to drive traffic and increase conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and IT to align online merchandising strategies with business objectives.
- Work closely with 3rd party marketplaces to ensure the veracity of product listings in alignment with each marketplace's requirements.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field.
- Proven experience in online merchandising, e-commerce management, or digital marketing.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret online sales data and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, web analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for fashion, digital trends, and online retail innovation.
Ability to work in a UK time-based environment 1 PM to 10 PM (SL time)
