We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Senior Technical Project Manager. The selected candidate will report to the Head of Delivery.

The Project Manager - Technical will be responsible for:

  • Lead defining the project scope, objectives, deliverables, development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocations and execution of projects related initiatives.
  • • Ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities in collaboration with stakeholders to identify risks and produce risk response with the required mitigation plans, anticipate bottlenecks, and develop contingency plans to start right or stay on course.
  • Manage project execution, monitor progress, and track milestones to ensure timely delivery of the projects while managing the triple constraints
  • (scope, budget, and time)
  • Keep projects on track as well as report to respective stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with software development, Infrastructure implementation, IT operations and Quality assurance teams to assess existing codebase, identify dependencies, and prioritize migration tasks.
  • Facilitate communication, alignment, and collaboration between cross-functional teams to drive project success and achieve shared objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Proven experience in Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes, utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline development workflows, improve release management practices, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Proven experience on quality assurance measures to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of software releases, including automated testing and code quality analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational security policies, collaborating with compliance and risk management teams as needed.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and compliance status related to DevOps initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, requirements, configurations, and processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Generate regular reports, status updates, and presentations for stakeholders, communicating project progress, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies effectively.
  • Capture lessons learned and best practices to continuously improve project delivery and drive organizational learning.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing technical projects, preferably in a software development environment, DevOps including experience delivering complex technical projects.
  • Strong technical proficiency in areas such as DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and integrated project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate and drive alignment across teams.

Experience in project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource planning and risk management

Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.

  • Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe 5), Azure DevOps or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar credentials are a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
