Supply Chain Manager

(For Immediate Engagement)

As the Supply Chain Manager at St. Theresa Industries (Pvt) Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our supply chain processes within the steel fabrication industry. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain activities to optimize delivery, costs, enhance productivity, and maintain high-quality standards. Your role will encompass strategic planning, procurement, logistics, import & export documentation, inventory management, and vendor relations.. You will report to CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to streamline the supply chain operations in alignment with company objectives.

Analyze market trends, demand patterns, and industry dynamics to anticipate changes and proactively adjust strategies.

2. Procurement:

Lead procurement activities including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, and equipment while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency.

3. Logistics Management:

Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to optimize efficiency and minimize lead times.

Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products to customers.

4. Inventory Management:

Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and minimize stock outs.

Utilize inventory management software to track inventory levels, analyze consumption patterns, and forecast demand.

5. Quality Control:

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the supply chain.

Implement quality control measures to identify and rectify defects in incoming materials and finished products.

6. Vendor Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable supply and favorable terms.

Evaluate supplier performance regularly and implement improvement initiatives as necessary. 7. Cost Management:

Monitor supply chain costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.

8. Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, import & export procedures, industry standards, and company policies across all supply chain activities.

Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience of minimum of 10 years in supply chain management, preferably in the steel fabrication industry.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in inventory management software and other relevant tools.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Understanding of quality management systems and processes.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements..
