Agri Field Executive
Location: Wathupitiwela
You will be closely working with farmer communities in order to meet agriculture raw material requirement for an undisturbed production process. A passion to meet farmer communities in various parts of the country in sourcing, transferring knowledge on best agricultural practices is a key attribute expected from the candidate.
Key job functions;
- Regular interaction with farmer network and frequent farmer visits.
- Identification of new estates/ farmers.
- Advice and assist farmer communities on agricultural practices acceptable to the standards specified by the company Coordinate organic audit with Control union auditors.
- Maintain accurate database of suppliers and outgrower network.
- Able to work extended hours.
The ideal candidate should have the following prerequisites;
- A degree / diploma in Agriculture from a recognized university/ professional institute.
- 1-3-year work experience in food processing industry in similar capacity.
- Ability to work with MS Office package and exposure to an 'ERP' system is required.
- A Valid driving licenses.
