EL - TORO Roofing Products Limited has set up its state-of-the-art production facility in Chilaw. The following vacancies exist at our factory for suitable qualified & experienced personnel.
Quality Assurance Officer/Supervisor
Role & Responsibilities
✰ Conduct quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in process components, and finished products.
✰ Document and report quality issues or non conformances, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- ✰ Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- ✰ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality related concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- ✰ Provide support during internal and external audits.
- ✰ Contribute to the development and review of quality control procedures and documentation.
- ✰ Assist in training employees on quality assurance processes and standards.
Requirements
- ✰ preferably between the ages of 25 and 35.
- ✰ Minimum of 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a similar role.
- ✰ A graduate Degree / Diploma with a strong background in physics, chemistry, or engineering.
- ✰ A diploma in quality management systems is a definite advantage.
- ✰ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ✰ Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- ✰ Strong communication skills and leadership abilities.
- ✰ Ability to comprehend technical manufacturing processes and work independently.
- ✰ Willingness to work extra hours.
