Assistant Lecturer in Professional Cookery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in teaching culinary courses, demonstrating cooking techniques and providing guidance to students.
  • Assess student performance and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Helping with administrative tasks, managing kitchen resources and fostering a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma from a recognized culinary school on culinary arts or a related field.

  • Seasoned culinary professional with diverse cooking skills and kitchen management experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills are expected.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field.

Lecturer in Food & Beverage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, lead discussions and conduct practical demonstrations.
  • Design syllabus, lesson plans and assignments.
  • Evaluate student performance through exams, projects and practical assessments.
  • Stay updated on food and beverage industry trends and developments is an added advantage.
  • Organize hands-on training sessions, internships, or practical experiences.
  • Guiding and mentoring students on their career paths.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Food and Beverage Services from a recognized institute.
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in lecturing students.
  • Ability to handle assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams.
