Financial Manager

We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will take the accountability of company's overall financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to the leadership on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the company's growth and profitability. Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities will be integral parts of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee overall operation of finance department and maintain positive financial health of the organization.
  • Evaluate financial risk minimizing opportunities with recommendations.
  • → Communicate and corporate with all the divisional heads towards achieving corporate objectives.
  • → Evaluate and implement cost reduction and wealth maximizing opportunities.

Ensure the company meets its statutory and compliance obligations (Annual financial audit, tax matters).

Reviewing and analyzing key management reports.

Working capital management.

Manage and preparation of annual budgets.

Requirements and Skills:

  • → Experience in the IT sector with the previous possible roles such as financial analyst.
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
  • → Proven experience working in a public accounting or audit firm environment.

Proficient user of finance software.

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  • → A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations relevant to Sri Lanka. BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
