Position: Resident Manager - Pre-Opening

Are you a passionate and experienced hospitality professional with a love for beachside locations? We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Pre-Opening Resident Manager to join our team and lead the successful launch of our stunning boutique hotel.

As the Pre-Opening Resident Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-opening phase of our beachside boutique hotel. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pre-opening process, from setting up operations to establishing a high-performing team. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and passion for creating exceptional guest experiences will contribute to the success of our property and establish it as a premier destination for discerning travellers.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive collaboration with the executive team to develop and execute a comprehensive pre-opening plan, including timelines, budgets, and operational strategies specific to a boutique beachside property.

Establish and implement standard operating procedures and guidelines for all hotel departments, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest service.

  • Recruit, hire, and train a skilled and passionate team of department heads and staff members who embody the unique brand identity and deliver personalized experiences.

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the timely completion of all pre-opening activities, including design, construction, and procurement.

Implement and oversee the setup of all operational systems and technologies, including reservations, property management, and guest engagement platforms.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development opportunities for team members.

Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive awareness, attract guests, and maximize revenue opportunities.

Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in boutique hotels or resorts.

Proven track record of successfully launching and managing boutique properties in beachside locations. Strong knowledge of boutique hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services.

Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce. Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

Willingness to be hands on and constantly on the ground during operation.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing personalized guest experiences.

Proficiency in industry-standard software and systems.

Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred).
