Duties & Responsibilities:

RESIDENT MANAGER
Our Resort Hotel is located down south in Hambantota with 54 rooms widely spread out on our 15-acre property. Surrounded by a tropical lush garden offering peace, tranquility and impeccable service. To be a part of our successful team, we're now on the lookout for suitable individuals:
- Responsible for all aspects of all departments and overall management of operation of the property liaising with the Directors.
- Lead and manage a team, maintain high quality standards, develop strategies to enhance the hotel's reputation and revenue.
- Conduct operational team meetings weekly to discuss operational matters, targets, guest satisfaction/feedback, and service.
- Monitor the purchasing/requisition of departments (receivables and payables).
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of all hotel departments, ensuring adherence to operational standards and implementing necessary improvements.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any performance issues or training needs.
- Develop and manage the hotel budget, monitoring expenses, revenue, and profitability targets. Cost Management with Profit Maximization with our Accountant.
- Implement strategies to increase occupancy rates, average daily rates, and overall revenue, such as marketing, promotions, and partnerships with our Marketing Manager & Owners.
- Able to work under pressure to meet targets set forth by management, problem solve, and handle any emergencies.
- Prior experience working for an Ayurveda resort is an added advantage. Fluent in English and in other foreign languages.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
- Excellent Computer Knowledge, MS Office, Experience in Property Management Software's.
- 5 years or more experience in the same capacity (Hotel Manager, Deputy Manager, Operations Manager) at a 4-star resort in Sri Lanka or abroad.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests, employees, and stakeholders.
