Implementing strong control procedures for labor, material & equipment.
Identifying & addressing service lapses of vendors & implementing proper control mechanisms.
Proper management of housekeeping, janitorial, landscaping and pest control activities.
Ability to develop and manage budgets, including forecasting expenses monitoring spending and identifying cost- saving opportunities.
To liaise closely and cooperate with other departments in order to maintain and ensure the cleanliness process and other operational services run smoothly.
The Job...
Set standards, develop, and implement procedures and supervise all cleaning and janitorial services in all common areas. Forecasting manpower requirements, manpower planning including allocation of janitorial staff with supervisors to carry out day to day shift duties.
Strong problem-solving skills to address issues and challenges related to housekeeping, including identifying root causes, evaluating options, and implementing effective solutions.
The Person...
Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Hotel Management Housekeeping.
Proven experience (15 years) in housekeeping in the hospitality or service sector with a minimum of 5 years in managerial grade. Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment & housekeeping operating procedures.
- Able to manage a large workforce and service providers
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Age between 35-45
