Main Purpose Of Job

The overall aim is to deliver teaching, training and assessment, advice and support to learners undertaking the Level 3 and 5 Diploma in Adult Care.

  • Ensure that all learners are working within time guidelines.
  • Ensure teaching and learning starts on day 1 and is continuous throughout the length of the learning journey.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and be able to deliver work on time, working to strict deadlines.
  • Manage employer expectations, build close relationships with employers.
  • Manage their caseload to minimise early leavers in line with KPIs.
  • Manage their caseload to achieve 90% success rate

Role related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience required

Desirable / Essential:

  • Occupational competency within Health and Social Care (Essential)
  • Hold an Assessor or a Teaching qualifications (over 16)
  • Basic office IT knowledge (including most Microsoft Office packages).
  • Excellent communication skills (at all levels).
  • Able to work to targets and deadlines
  • Able to work as part of a team reporting to line manager and liaise with employers providing up to date progression data.
  • Experience and knowledge of teaching, training and assessment.
