Database Developer
RESPONSIBILITIES
Database Management Systems (DBMS):
Specific knowledge and experience with the particular DBMS used by the organization. For example, expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Database Design and Modeling:
Proficiency in database design principles, including normalization and denormalization. Experience with data modeling tools such as ERD (Entity- Relationship Diagrams).
SQL (Structured Query Language):
Strong command of SQL for creating, querying, and modifying databases, Knowledge of advanced SQL concepts, such as stored procedures, triggers, and views.
Query Optimization:
Ability to optimize database queries for performance, considering factors like indexing and query execution plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree or Diploma in computer science, information technology. Knowledge of database design principles and normalization
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization Understanding of backup and recovery procedures
