ACCOUNTANT / ASST.ACCOUNTANT

(Kandy)

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Finance department.
  • Managing & leading the month-end closing process and preparation of management accounts.
  • Monitor & review the daily cash flow and manage cash flow forecasting, ensuring funds are utilized effectively.
  • Collaborate with banks to ensure compliances.
  • Payroll processing.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the Finance team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business administration or a related field.
  • Should possess a full professional qualification or finalist in CA/CIMA/ACCA.
  • 5 years of experience in the accountancy field, out of that at least 3 years in the similar capacity.

Hands on experience in computerized accounting packages and MS Office packages.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Age preferably below 35 years with highly developed management and administrative skills. Experience in Automobile industry will be added advantage but not compulsory.
  • Male Candidates residing in close proximity to Kandy preferred.
