We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Resident Manager to join our team and lead our ecolodge to the next level of excellence.
Job Description: The Resident Manager will oversee all aspects of the lodge's daily operations, ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay. This role requires strong leadership, hospitality expertise, and a passion for eco-friendly practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Guest Experience: Provide outstanding service to guests, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Staff Management: Lead and supervise the lodge's staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Operations: Oversee all lodge operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and security.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, track expenses, and maximize profitability while adhering to eco-friendly principles.
Sustainability: Uphold and promote the lodge's commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.
Marketing and Sales: Assist with marketing efforts to attract guests and promote the lodge's offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in an eco-lodge or similar setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
