Our client is a leading logistics and supply services provider in Sri Lanka. They are looking for a dynamic, innovative, result-oriented individual to join their team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or fully qualified in CIMA
- More than 5 years of progressive experience in management accounting
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with financial software systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Provide insightful commentary and variance analysis to explain financial performance
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial plans
- Prepare rolling forecasts and analyze key drivers of financial performance
- Monitor and control costs, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for various projects and initiatives Provide strategic insights based on financial data to support decision-making
