Consultant Consulting ESG

As a member of the Operations Transformations - Sustainability & Climate Change team, you will embark on an exciting journey with a group of competent globally aware individuals. The team provides a range of advisory services to clients in the private and public sector on a broad range of aspects for clients who plan to or are already disclosing against established sustainability reporting standards or frameworks.

The focus of the team is on strategic analyses of key concerns in sustainability; climate change, science-based targets, carbon markets, and decarbonization; ESG; circular economy and related disclosures – including strategy development, implementation, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, governance systems, sustainable finance, stakeholder engagement and reporting.

Key Requirements

Bachelors Degree in sustainability, environmental

studies, business or other related programs.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience in frameworks (like the GRI, CDP, SASB, TCFD) as well as various ESG rating methodologies.

Experience in sustainability - areas such as reporting; target setting; climate change; sustainable finance; ESG policy and governance; circular economy; emissions modelling & scenario development etc.

Good knowledge of concepts in one or more of the following sub-areas: climate change, GHG and Carbon neutrality; decarbonization and energy transitions Sustainability certification (e.g., GRI or SASB's

Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting credential a plus)

Strong data analytics and visualization skills

Ability to create compelling narrative within ESG and corporate sectors

Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

A fast learner, out-of-box thinking and an inclination for problem solving

Key Responsibilities

Ensure project timelines, milestones and deliverables are met in accordance with client expectations

Identify and engage with stakeholders both within the client organization and internally

Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements, industry trends, and market dynamics

Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges and opportunities

Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communications and delivery of high quality. solutions

Prepare proposals and responses to RFPs by collaborating across competencies / alliances/service lines Build and maintain strong relationships within the climate change and sustainability network
