Asia Leisure Travels is a Colombo based IATA accredited travel agent who wishes to enroll a capable individual to our team to fulfill the following requirement
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- CEO/COO/HEAD OF OPERATIONS
- Responsible for the achievement of sales target/generate your own business
- Responsible for the overall functions of the travel agency which also includes the day to day operations and the cash flow maintenance
- Creates an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the company's mission, vision and values and oversees all operations and business activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners to enhance our competitive position and expand our network
- Develops business prospects based on economic trends and revenue opportunities in terms of cost reduction, systems enhancement and accumulating capital to fund expansion
- Oversees financial performance and risk profile while ensuring that all of regulatory obligations are met and oversees brand development and the implementation of effective marketing strategies.
- Monitors company performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions and minimizing the impact of variances
- Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction in conjunction with the policy laid down by the Board of Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Dynamic person with an excellent knowledge in Airline Ticketing / Tours & Visas formalities
- Minimum 5 Years' experience in a similar capacity or in managerial position in the travel industry & familiarity with Amadeus GDS system
- IATA certified professional qualification on Airline ticketing & reservation or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English is required
- Having a good knowledge of Amadeus & MS office applications
- Deep understanding of outbound travel trends, customer preferences, and destination markets
