Business Development Manager (IT Services Specific)
We are seeking candidates for our reputed client company based in Colombo
Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop strategic relationships with local and foreign entities in the industry and leveraging on these to facilitate partnerships
Established relationships within the industry and relevant stakeholders locally and internationally. Recommend and implement industry specific strategies to penetrate international markets, including but not limited to international roadshows/events. Providing proactive solutions to address concerns of the industry and prospective investors.
Ability to develop and present strategies and plans on promotion, business development and extra
- Assist potential investors in developing business models, and proposals
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in the respective sectors, in strategy, consulting, offshoring, investment banking roles
IT/ITes, Global Delivery / Capability Centres, FinTech, Edtech etc. Exposure to multinational services businesses and international markets is preferred
- Has a sound understanding of tax, regulatory and legal environments
Strong at client facing roles, negotiating and closing prospects. Strong business development background. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Posses good leadership qualities and ability work under minimum supervision.
