EXECUTIVE-QUALITY AND R&D (MALE)
The ideal candidate should
Be preferably between 25 to 30 years of age
Quality Management up to the level of National Diploma
Polymer Science or Diploma from the PRI and appropriate training or experience in dry rubber related industry A working knowledge of computers and Ms Office packages
Good leadership skills, analytical skills for problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand the technical processes in manufacturing and should be able to work independently.
Responsibilities
Document and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including criteria for Process Controlling, Finished Goods grading and Raw Material acceptance.
Monitor the QMS to ensure compliance and take corrective / preventive action
Ensure that there is no unusual accumulation of Work In Progress (WIP) either in tyres to be graded or tyres to be repaired.
Monitor the Process Controlling data and develop trends for management decision making
Identify Finished Goods reject reasons and keep the troubleshooting guide, in standard form, updated
Take corrective / preventive action for Finished goods reject, as per Service Level guideline, to ensure minimal rejection of Finished Goods
Monitor and identify reasons for Finished Goods repairs and take action to minimize repairs.
Take steps to minimize process waste to be with specified guidelines and proactively highlight any actual or anticipated deviations from the standard.
Monitor Raw material consumption and liaise with Production Executive / Supervisor for corrective action and ordering Preference will be given candidates residing in and around Horana/Homagama/Padukka areas.
