Aiyer Lanka Shipping (Pvt) Ltd is an NVOCC with wide expertise and an international reputation and our team comprises of energetic and experienced professionals with varying expertise in the industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our Customer Service and Sales Team.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE/ EXECUTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE (NVOCC)

SENIOR EXECUTIVE/ ASSISTANT MANAGER SALES (NVOCC)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate activities with the Shippers and Vessel Operators in order to ensure FCL cut-off time and required space.
  • Responsible for the preparation of sailing schedules and issuing of release orders to Customers.
  • Follow up with Shippers to obtain B/L instructions.
  • Responsible for preparation of weekly reports and updating of booking forecasts.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Have 2-4 Years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Partly qualified in Logistics/Supply chain from a recognized instituteBe fluent in English and have good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to resolve customer concerns efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Cultivate client connections for retention and base expansion.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, ensuring efficient communication.
  • Actively engage in client meetings with a proactive approachStay informed on market trends, updating principals promptly.
  • Foster strong relationships with Principals, agents, and Feeder Lines.
  • Provide weekly transparent sales reports.
  • Systematically gather market information for strategic decisions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in sea freight liner sales or NVOCC sales in a similar capacity.
  • Hold either full or partial qualifications in SLIM, CIM, or Business Management from a recognized institute.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in effectively managing customer relationships.
  • Maintain a robust customer base within their portfolio.
  • Exhibit proficiency in computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Showcase excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and timemanagement skills.
  • Additional advantage if the candidate has established relationships with the shipping industry and freight forwarders.
