Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Basic understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems and server administration concepts.

2 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on managing Linux and Windows server environments in a corporate setting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory services and basic user management tasks.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
Requirements:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A, CompTIA Network, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals).
Added advantage as working with banking applications
You will be responsible for
- assist in the administration and maintenance of the bank's Linux and Windows server environments, including performing routine tasks such as system updates, software installations, and configuration changes
provide support for Microsoft Active Directory services, including user and group administration, password management, and basic troubleshooting under the guidance of senior administrators
monitor system logs and alerts to identify potential security threats or vulnerabilities. Assist in implementing security measures and best practices to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate risks
assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to server performance, connectivity, and application functionality. Escalate complex problems to senior administrators as needed
maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Learn from senior administrators and actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to expand your skills and expertise
assist in the implementation and testing of backup and disaster recovery plans for Linux and Windows servers. Learn how to perform data backups, restore procedures, and recovery drills
collaborate with other IT teams and departments to support cross-functional projects and initiatives. Take advantage of learning opportunities to enhance your understanding of IT infrastructure and banking systems
