VACANCY AVAILABLE FOR THE POSITION OF
QA SPECIALIST
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Play a pivotal role in the product development process. Collaborate closely with the Product and QA teams.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance and bug hunting.
- Perform final checks before production release.
- Engage in manual testing as part of our development cycle, including user testing of developed features, smoke testing, and regression testing.
- Write and maintain automated tests using Cypress and Detox automation frameworks.
- Develop major testing initiatives by employing effective testing methodologies, processes, and peopleContinuously pursue learning opportunities on new solutions, technologies, and skills.
Familiarize yourself with our tech stack which includes React, React Native, Ruby on Rails, GCP, Postgres DB, Github, Kubernetes, and various modern CI/CD/testing tools.
WHAT KIND OF QA SPECIALIST ARE YOU?
Demonstrate previous experience with manual testing, including independently planning test cases, executing tests, and reporting findings.
Possess some prior experience with test automation.
Exhibit initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Showcase excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across the product spectrum.
- Display analytical problem-solving skills and strong prioritization abilities.
Maintain a proactive attitude towards learning and a commitment to getting things done.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Have an understanding of Agile methodology and its integration with QA processes. Possess some experience with a JavaScript-based automation framework.
Previous experience with native app automation is considered a significant advantage.
