You should ideally;
- possess a degree in Accounting / Finance and or a full qualification of ICASL, CIMA, ACCA will be an added advantage
have an excellent knowledge in taxation and accounting
possess approx 6-8 years of experience in the financial services sector at a supervisory level
have a good knowledge of MS Excel/Word and application software packages.
- have good communication skills
be able to work with minimum supervision and guidance
have the ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask
You will be responsible for,
preparing all tax computations and tax returns of the Bank (Income Tax, Deferred Tax, VAT, VAT on FS, WHT, SSCL, Stamp Duty).
compiling information to the Department of Inland Revenue.
conducting negotiations with the officials of the Department of Inland Revenue.
carrying-out standard reconciliations
