Key Responsibilities
- Identify the correct fit & construction requirement of a style & develop patterns, arrange pattern boards for sampling, following up the sample progress with Sample room.
- Coordinate with garment technologists to assess individual proto-type designs and prepare patterns to support the sample development process.
- Attend to fit meetings & internal fit sessions to identify corrections in measurements and to make sure customer requirements are fulfilled.
- Ensure that patterns for sample and bulk are produced accurately and on time.
- Provide technical support to the pattern Tech Team & production team.
- Facilitate other departments with relevant information and apply necessary changes to garments base on customer changes in order to ensure the garment according to the customer requirements.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current job roles as and when and where required by the management.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree or diploma in clothing technology, or a similar qualification, is required.
- 1 to 5 years of job experience (includes knowledge in handling Intimates & activeware).
- Familiarity with Pattern making CAD systems and exposure in Lectra, Gerber systems are required.
- Negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and customers are expected.
- Knowledge of bonding will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Be Self-motivated and have ability to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly.
