FASHION DESIGNER
Job Role
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to lead a team of Designers.
- Ability to visualize trends in three Dimensions.
- Keeping up to date with emerging Fashion Trends.
- Strong creativity and eye for colors, textures, and shapes.
- Responsible for Sourcing of Raw materials as per forecasted Trends.
- Responsible to work with in-house team in the sample development process.
- Responsible for working with a team of Buyers and Merchandisers to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong Research and analytical skills - on presenting and forecasting Fashion Trends (Clothing/Accessories).
- Conceptualizing and Design development (include conceptualizing range plans, Tech pack developments in illustrator format).
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design.
- Sound knowledge in Graphic software (Illustrator/Photo shop).
- Technical Knowledge in garment construction and pattern development.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in Retail Fashion in a leading Ladies fashion Brand (Local or international).
