Job Description
As our Maritime Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the mechanical systems of our fleet. Your expertise is essential for our operations, as you will be responsible for ensuring that our catamarans operate at peak performance to meet the expectations of our discerning clientele.
A strong understanding of engines, generators, and watermakers is a requirement. Proficiency in electrical components is also highly desirable. Proven experience and references are preferred qualifications for this position.
The candidate must be willing to relocate to Seychelles.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a maritime setting, preferably with yacht or catamaran systems.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in researching and procuring marine-specific parts online.
- Comprehensive understanding of maritime systems, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in dynamic marine environments.
