Michelin Lanka Private Limited (formerly Camso Loadstar Private Limited) manufactures and exports specialized tires, tracks, wheels, and ancillary products to customers around the world, catering to the demands of material handling and construction industrial needs, which includes both original equipment and replacement markets. Michelin Lanka operates with over 5000 employees in 14 sites in the country.
ENGINEERING MECHANIC- ELECTRICAL
The mission of the engineering mechanic (Electrical) is to "To perform electrical installation and troubleshooting related to maintenance projects adhering all types of safety and health guidelines implemented in the factory".
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot and maintaining the electrical systems ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Practively engage in daily routines, preventive maintenance and maintaining the records.
- Collaboratively work with mechanical technicians during the hydraulic, Pneumatic, and general mechanical system maintenance works.
- Timely management of maintenance tasks to minimize the plant/Machine downtime and other KPIs.
- Experience of PLC systems, motor drives and servo systems will be an added advantage.
Requirements:
- You have Passed G.C.E O/L
- You hold a NVQ Level 4 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- You have 2 years' experience in relevant field
- You have good communication (Sinhala and basic English) and interpersonal skills
