We are seeking a talented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.
Kings Accountant
Primary duties and responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor variances and provide explanations.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis on various hospital activities and services to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections to support operational needs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including healthcare industry-specific requirements.
- Fixed Asset Management: Maintain a detailed fixed asset register and ensure proper depreciation and disposal procedures are followed.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard hospital assets, revenue assurance and ensure financial accuracy.
- Financial Audits: Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for annual financial audits. Address any audit findings promptly.
- Taxation: Stay updated with relevant tax laws and regulations. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
Required qualifications
- Full qualification of CA/ ACCA or passed finalist
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a reputed company or audit firm.
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred
