Vacancy: Product Promotion and Customer Support Executive.

Our Company is a fully owned subsidiary of a leading Presidential Exports Award winning Company. We cultivate and process fresh fruit and vegetables at our farm in Dambulla. We supply fresh and processed fruits and vegetables to export markets and local super markets.

We are looking for an enthusiastic young management executive to join our company and support the Company Senior Management to liaise with customers, suppliers and the factory to fulfill our export and local orders. He/She will be responsible for ensuring good and accurate communication between the customer, the management, the factory and the logistical personnel to ensure efficient and timely fulfillment of export and local distribution orders. He/she will also be required to actively be involved in the preparation of promotional material and in participating in trade promotion fairs locally and internationally.

Objective: To be trained to handle product promotional work smoothly; to liaise with the management and the factory; to effectively communicate with customers and to ensure overall efficiency in operations.

Educational Requirements:

  • Advance Level qualified;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Have a higher education qualification in business, commerce or management from a recognized educational institution.
  • Active involvement in school sports and other extracurricular activities.

Other Pre-requisites:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literate.
  • A very high degree of responsibility, integrity and transparency must be inherent characteristics of the applicant. Maintaining confidentiality is an absolute essentiality.
  • Be a self-confident, smart and outgoing personality.
  • Previous work experiences in any capacity will be considered an added advantage.

Job Skills and Requirements:

  • A quick learner with ability to think on his feet.
  • Be customer service oriented; be a good listener and win customer and supplier confidence.
  • Have good communication skills; Must be able to capture the customer's attention and communicate with him effectively.
  • Be persistent, enthusiastic and focused; maintain a cordial relationship with all parties. Follow issues and problems through to resolution.
