ASSISTANT MANAGER - PROCUREMENT
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement company sourcing strategy and production, and demand planning.
- Build and maintain good relationships with local & foreign suppliers and negotiate pricing and control costs.
- Ability to handle import packing material activities.
- Sourcing new suppliers and analyzing the cost-benefit with predetermined standards and quality.
- Monitor the packing material cost against the budget and analyze the variance and corrective actions to be taken.
- Monitor stock holding and optimize the re-order levels to improve working capital.
- Preparation of the MIS report required by the management on a weekly and monthly basis.
CANDIDATE PROFILE :
- Degree in Logistic management, Supplier Chain & Material Management, or equivalent qualification.
- Qualification in CIMA will be an added advantage.
- Having worked in an ERP environment and exposure to SAP will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of English (oral & written) and MS Office packages is essential.
- Must be a team player having a structured and disciplined approach toward work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
