RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting:
- Prepare regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide detailed and insightful analysis of financial data to support decision-making processes.
Cash Flow Management
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fund/Portfolio Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting for our investment portfolios.
- Monitor and share cashflows related to the investment portfolios with the front office.
- Coordinate with relevant counterparties to execute investments.
Reconciliation
- Perform regular reconciliations of investment portfolios to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines set by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka.
- Implement and adhere to industry best practices, including Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) and the CFA Institute's Asset Manager Code.
Audit Support
- Facilitate and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
Collaboration
- Work closely with other teams within the organization, including the front office, compliance, and operations.
- Collaborate with external service providers, such as custodians and clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in auditing.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong English language skills are preferred.
