Job Position - QA/QC Engineer
Locations - Maldives & Sri Lanka (02 Positions)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests of materials, equipment, and processes to verify compliance with quality requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate project activities to identify quality issues, defects, or non-conformances, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues and improve overall project quality.
- Review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts, to ensure alignment with quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Prepare quality reports, documentation, and records, including non-conformance reports, inspection reports, and quality assurance plans.
- Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams and subcontractors on quality assurance and quality control procedures and requirements. Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to quality management and incorporate best practices into project processes.
- Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in the field.
- Candidates with experience in QA/QC procedures as per BS standards will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulations.
- Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and tests using relevant tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification is a plus.
