MANAGER - IT
The Job:
As the Manager - IT at Timex Garments (Pvt) Ltd. you will play a crucial role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization.
This position is a strategic leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT operations, from infrastructure management to strategic planning and team leadership.
You will have the opportunity to drive innovation, optimize efficiency, and ensure the security and reliability of our IT systems and services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT department, providing strategic direction, leadership, and guidance to a team of talented professionals.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, and security measures.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of IT systems and infrastructure, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs, prioritize projects, and allocate resources effectively.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the company and recommending innovative solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT products and services, ensuring cost-effective and efficient solutions.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, tracking expenses and making strategic investments to support business growth and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in IT management or leadership roles, with a track record of success in developing and implementing IT strategies and managing IT operations.
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.
- Strong technical expertise across a range of IT disciplines, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise systems.
