ACCOUNTANT (Male / Female)
We are a reputed company with a longstanding history spanning several decades, operating across diverse business sectors, including hospitality. We have a vacancy for the above position at our unique Star Class Restaurant situated in Colombo 7. Our establishment is renowned for its exceptional standards, professional management, and clientele comprising both local and international guests.
Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring and analysis of revenue and expenses to ensure financial health and efficiency.
- Effective management of inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize wastage.
- Oversight of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable.
- Preparation of management reports.
Qualifications
- At least a part qualification in Accountancy, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and a good command of spoken and written English are essential for effective communication and reporting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, demonstrating competence in financial management and accounting processes.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel environment would be advantageous, providing familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices.
- Age below 45 years.
