SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
We are looking for passionate candidates to join the Sri Lankan operations of an Australian based cutting-edge Technology Company serving both government and private organizations in Australia, England and New Zealand.

Must Have Skill Requirements
- Microsoft Azure, specifically compute, network and storage
- Strong working knowledge of best practices for Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
- Experience deploying Azure resources and other cloud technologies, including Database services, Firewall appliances and VPNs.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, and third-party single sign-on technologies.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Strong understanding of Azure security concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policies, Certificate Services, IIS, DNS, etc.
- Experience with Hardware Firewall configuration and maintenance.
- Experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Service configurations.
Must Have Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT
- 2-3 years Hands on Industry Experience
- Microsoft Azure related certifications are desirable
Responsibilities
- Perform daily checklists
- Monitor and respond to tickets in the helpdesk
- Monitor and respond to alerts from systems monitoring
- Monitor and respond to security related alerts
- Maintain and configure a range of services and equipment including virtual machines, virtual networks, and firewalls
- Monitor and administer backup solutions
- Work on projects as required by the business
Preferred
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Hyper-V
- Atlassian Jira
- RingCentral VoIP phone system
- Experience in Microsoft Entra ID would be added advantage
