ASSISTANT MANAGER- QUALITY ASSURANCE

Our Client is one of the leading food manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka. They are looking for an energetic, result-oriented individual with work experience to join their team
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to guarantee the consistent delivery of high-quality products or services.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze current processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness within the quality assurance framework.
- Generate comprehensive reports on quality metrics and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the organization remains in compliance with relevant quality requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in relevant fields preferably in Food science or Chemistry.
- Experience more than 5 years in an executive or above position.
- Sound knowledge in ISO 22000, ISO 9001 & BRCGS food safety standard and ability to lead external audits belongs to those standards.
- Sound knowledge in good laboratory practices and food testing.
- Ability to train the employees on GMP, HACCP and other necessary food safety and quality requirements.
