Assistant Manager - Procurement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management, Science, or Engineering from an accredited university, or a Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management from ISMM
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in local and indirect procurement
  • Previous experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry is preferable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with SAGE/SAP ERP systems
  • Age between 30 and 45 years
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Excellent negotiation, time management, and communication skills are essential
  • Additional qualifications in 5S, Lean, and TPM are advantageous

  • Manage procurement processes for local and indirect materials
  • Cultivate and maintain vendor relationships for competitive pricing and timely delivery
  • Coordinate procurement activities to meet operational needs
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing
  • Analyze procurement data and generate reports using MS Excel
  • Utilize SAGE/SAP ERP system for efficient procurement management
  • Provide training and support for procurement staff Uphold quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Foster communication and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Lead procurement-related projects within budgetary constraints
  • Evaluate performance against key metrics and drive improvements
