AREA PRODUCTION MANAGER
Elegant Knitting International is a well-established and reputable garment manufacturing company specializing in Knitting garments manufactures. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our clients while maintaining ethical manufacturing practices. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Area Production Manager to join our team and oversee our production operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, organize, and manage the entire production process to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of garments
- Coordinate with various departments, including design, procurement, and quality control, to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules
- Supervise and provide guidance to production supervisors and workers, ensuring that they understand and follow established production procedures and quality standards
- Monitor production performance, track key metrics, and implement strategies to optimize productivity and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with the design team to translate product designs into feasible production plans, ensuring that the necessary materials, machinery, and manpower are available
- Oversee inventory management, including raw materials and finished goods, to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Implement and continuously improve quality control measures to achieve the highest product quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in garment manufacturing
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Production Manager in the garment industry, with a strong understanding of the production process and garment manufacturing techniques
- Solid knowledge of quality control procedures and garment industry standards
- Familiarity with production management software and tools
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
