We are Leading Poultry Products Manufacturing Company with island wide distribution network, looking for dynamic people for the office team to appoint immediately.
Junior Systems Administrator (Male)
Would be part of the Finance team providing vital information for management decision making and supporting the Head of Finance and Administration to ensure compliance with regulation and organizational policies and procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Microsoft System Certified Administrator/Engineer or equal qualification.
- Being CCNA certified will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge on networking, LAN, WAN, WIFI and Firewalls.
- Sufficient demonstrable knowledge and experience in server environments.
- Knowledge and experience in Virtualization techniques.
- Knowledge and experience with shared network attached storage.
- Team Player, Good communication skills and fluent English.
- Should be able to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform regular software and network maintenance.
- Follow appropriate standards for client and server configuration and installation.
- Monitoring performance, maintaining systems and be responsible for all backups.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
- Keep track of IT asset inventories.
- Proactively analyze issues and report to the team and other engineers.
- Working with AD, DNS, AD group policies, Firewall administration, SUS and VPN configuration.
- Learn and advance own skills and keep up with certifications.
- Develop and implement applications and programs for parts of IT systems that are hidden from users but that keep organizations running smoothly.
