Accountant
Key Requirements
- Monthly management reports including monthly management accounts & production KPI reports.
- Handle VAT/SVAT/TIEP matters & statutory compliance.
- Finalize Annual Audits/Income Tax with Auditors.
- Ensure Invoicing/Payments/Receipting bank reconciliation completed on daily basis.
- Ensure BOM posted to system daily & variance reports.
- Monitor stores functions & designing new internal control systems.
- Preparation of product-wise costing for local & import operations & submitting pre costing for new orders.
- Ensure documents are properly filed in coconut sector companies.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate ledger to coconut sector companies.
- Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations to the coconut sector companies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management or fully/part qualification in CIMA/ICASL/CMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 Years' experience in a similar capacity of the manufacturing industry, coconut sector industry preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting Practices, Including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Proficient in Account Packages & MS Office, and computer literacy.
- Oracle experience will be added advantage.
- Excellent knowledge in Taxation, Final Accounts, Auditing & Costing.
- Excellent verbal and Written communication in English and Sinhala. Less than 45 years of age is preferred
