WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS (SENIOR EXECUTIVE / ASSISTANT MANAGER)
We are a prominent company in Sri Lanka, highly diversified across multiple industries. Our latest expansion focuses on the FMCG sector, specifically in Cosmetics, Beauty, and Fragrance products.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our vibrant team as a WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS (SENIOR EXECUTIVE / ASSISTANT MANAGER) Manager at our location in Panadura.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff and provide guidance to ensure efficient handling of goods and delivery operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse processes and improve efficiency, including coordinating delivery schedules.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Oversee the handling and coordination of deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods to customers.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Handle escalated issues and resolve conflicts among warehouse staff.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance warehouse performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the warehouse or logistics industry, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years as a supervisor or team leader in a warehouse setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
CANDIDATES RESIDING NEAR PANADURA OR WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THE AREA ARE PREFERRED.
