WE ARE HIRING PROJECT MANAGER

(IT)

  • Location: Male, Maldives.
  • Experience: 10-12 years
  • Education: Undergraduate: Bachelor of Engineering (Any stream) / Bachelor of Technology

  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Equivalent (Preferable)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:

  • Project Management fundamentals.
  • Project Lifecycles on development & maintenance projects, estimation methodologies, quality processes.
  • Ability to perform project planning and scheduling, manage tasks and coordinate project resources to meet objectives and timelines.
  • Allocate software development resources appropriately to ensure projects are completed in the most efficient and timely manner to the highest quality.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.

Technical:

  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages; knowledge of architecture frameworks, and design principles; ability to comprehend & manage technology, performance engineering.
  • Awareness of latest technologies and trends
  • Excellent presentation skills

Domain, Processes and Software Engineering:

  • Basic domain knowledge to understand the business requirements/functionality.
  • Ability to work with business and technology subject matter experts to assess requirements, define scope, create estimates, and produce project charters.
  • A good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies is a pre-requisite.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.

Team Management:

  • Lead a team of software developers, reviewing current work to maintain and improve upon quality standards and implementing KPI (key performance indicators) measures to provide a more structured and organized approach to the Software Development team.
  • Lead recruitment activities within the Software Development team when required.
  • Coordinate the development efforts of offshore development teams. Managing large-scale, complex application environments.

Customer Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes. Attending meetings to discuss and develop understanding of software requirements with both new and existing clients.
