Manager - Revenue & E Commerce

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to adjust room rates and availability to ensure optimal occupancy and revenue
  • Developing and implementing an effective e-commerce strategy
  • Managing the hotel's presence on online travel agencies (OTAs), the hotel website, and other digital platforms
  • Improving the hotel's visibility, ensuring accurate and appealing content, and optimizing the booking process to drive direct bookings
  • Creating and executing digital marketing campaigns to promote the hotel's offerings, special packages, and promotions
  • Search Engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, social media marketing, and other online advertising efforts to attract and convert potential guests
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics such as occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), and website traffic is essential
  • Generate regular reports and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions regarding pricing, distribution, and marketing strategies
  • Collaborate closely with various departments within the hotel, including sales, reservations, and marketing, to ensure alignment in revenue strategies and marketing efforts
  • Maintain relationships with OTA representatives, technology providers, and other relevant partners to stay updated on industry trends and opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience in revenue management, e-commerce, and digital marketing within the hospitality industry
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • In-depth knowledge of online travel agency platforms, digital marketing channels, and emerging e-commerce trends
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools, including property management systems (PMS), revenue management systems (RMS), and digital marketing platforms
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven with a passion for achieving revenue targets and enhancing the guest experience
