We are the first Company in Sri Lanka to manufacture eco-friendly Fiber Cement products and related accessories using 100% environment-friendly raw materials. EL TORO has set up its fully automated, 24 x7 running, state-of-the-art production facility in Chilaw. We are looking for an exceptional, dynamic & energetic individual to join our team, to take over the responsibilities as a HOD Electrical.
Electrical Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
- Planning & implementation of schedules for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance & calibration of instruments of all machines in the fully automated factory.
- Maintenance of all the PLC system (siemens 300), Inverters (SEW motion studios), Profinet with SCADA and Loadcell and weighing system.
- Preventive maintenance of all electronics circuits related to all process & utility equipment's.
- Maintenance of DG sets, PCC & MCC panel boards, High tension grids, transformers including Generators as per the SOPs'.
- Maintenance of all panel boards as PM schedule.
- Electrical Maintenances of Boiler, RO plant, Steam related control, Printers and utility supply.
- Managing projects using engineering principals, techniques, research, analytical conceptual design skills.
- Producing details of specifications and outline designs within set deadline.
- Maintances of spare part and consumable.
- Considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints, designing, & implementing cost-effective equipment modifications.
- As a part of the validation, commissioning of IQ, OQ, & PQ all equipment up to commissioning in the respective area.
- Handle QMS & EMS such as change control, deviations and CAPAS.
- Participate in internal and external Audits.
- Preparation of work instructions, SOPs, & maintenance protocols for Engineering systems in the factory.
Position Requirements
- Ideal candidate should have a B.Sc. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar capacity.
- Excellent communication skill in English.
- Ability to work independently by meeting deadlines.
- To be a good team player with positive attitudes.
